Katahdin Hair Sheep are a hearty meat sheep that do not require shearing of wool.

They show strong maternal instincts, ease of lambing with vigorous offspring. They exhibit a tollerance to parasites and require less trimming of hooves than other breeds.

Just for fun, they show up in a variey of colors!
